Solar Energy Technologies Office 

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) issued a request for information (RFI) on supporting successful solar plus storage deployment serving low-income and disadvantaged communities. The goal of this RFI is to collect input on the greatest challenges to successful solar deployment and equitable distribution of its benefits to low-income and disadvantaged communities amongst a wide variety of stakeholders. 

State, territory, Tribal, local government agencies, utilities, solar developers and installers, solar industry organizations, subscriber management organizations, community-based organizations, financial institutions, consumer advocacy organizations, community action agencies, environmental justice organizations, community members, and other stakeholders are encouraged to respond.  

Download the RFI and submit responses by February 23 at 5 p.m. ET.
